Sierra Foothills

The shoreline is forested with ponderosa pines
and natural oaks.  Deer frequently come down
to the water to drink.  This secluded lake is only
about 2 hours from the Bay Area. It's within a
hour of Sugar Bowl, Boreal and Squaw Valley
Ski Resorts.
Everything you'll ever need is within 3 miles.  A
grocery store, bakery/deli, restaurants plus
the beautiful new Dark Horse Golf Course,
rated by Golf Digest's March 2003 issue as one
of the top ten new courses in America. Dark
Horse is just down the road and offers
world-class golf and a restaurant.  The Ridge
and Black Oak golf courses are within 10 miles.

The house sleeps 9 and features a
master suite with a queen size pillow
top bed.  Another bedroom has a
double/full bed and a third bedroom
features 3 twin beds.  There is a queen
sofa sleeper in the great room.  There
are two full bathrooms and a large
kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Watch fantastic sunsets from the deck
while you barbecue on the Charcoal
grill, or cook inside from the fully
equipped kitchen that features
cooking/eating utensils, a double oven,
microwave, and coffee pot.
The home has cable T.V. with
DVD/VCR, Nintendo 64 with games, CD
player/stereo, cards, and board games.

The lake is just steps from the house.  
Enjoy the lake by bringing your own
ski/fish boat and or water toys or use
the aluminum rowboat that is included
with the rental of house.  The lake has
a slalom course for those few
remaining die-hard skiers. Go for a
swim in 5mph cove out in front of the
dock, try your luck fishing or just relax
on the dock in the folding chairs
provided.

For those who prefer more excitement
the gold rush towns of Grass
Valley/Nevada City and old town
Auburn are all within 20 minutes from
the house and feature plenty of
restaurants, shops and historic sites.
